Thinking about it, …
Thinking about it, the population would dwindle BUT… At the end you’d be left with the kids of gay people who want kids. That would presumably be transferred (to some degree) to the kids by genetic mechanisms.
So maybe the population wouldn’t go extinct.
And in those circumstances rare mutations causing heterosexuality probably wouldn’t occur frequently enough for male/female meet-up. Oh wait, there’d be a website for hetero hookups.
I still think it would be unstable.

The thing is, from an evolutionary perspective (I’m not an expert though), gay is ok for the population once the population reaches a point where being gay doesn’t mean the death of a species, or even not having offspring (so those traits can’t be affected by natural selection). Still, we surely won’t die out anytime soon, there’s so many of us, and the number is growing! xD
An entirely gay population is as unlikely as an entirely hetero population, and imho just as good/bad for the species.

Please know that I am not posting these comments with hatred of heart towards gays, im just sharing my thoughts based upon the word of God, and knowing even if there wasnt a God, to be gay (man or woman) is wrong. No gay can prove to be gay is “right” it’s just a matter of opinion. I also dont agree with gay bashing and condemning, but to allow gays to run this country, or allow their perspectives to have a vast affect on my child or society. I will speak out aginst it but not in hatred.

It’s also funny that alot of gays say things like what you said make no sense. Because their minds are against Christ’s teachings. As the bible says their minds (sinners) cant even understand the Word of God. Again the bible doesnt “support” slavery, just like it doesnt “support” men having more than one wife, but examples are in there. God never ordained a man to have more than one wife. God never ordained for 2 men or 2 women to be together as well.

Now here’s something so easy 2 c a caveman can agree. It’s natural 4 a man & woman 2 b together. Ex: Penis n2 vagina. The vagina was designed 4 a penis 2 insert n2 it & release semen upon climax, which leads 2 inpregnation. With 2 women/men it’s a no brainer that’s not how the natural design is 2 b. Well, the proof is there regardless “if u want 2 believe it or not. Here’s a simple example. You see all the buildings that are built, you dont see all the people who made them now do you? Well this planet/universe are the same way, there’s no way an entire universe, or solar system that has order, was created out of a big bang <-disorder. Even scientist are saying that there is an intellectual design 2 the universe, not just some random occurance. So therefore something (God)did create us.

If the Bible wanted to tell us that slavery was wrong, it would just say so — it would NOT tell us WHO we can enslave and for HOW LONG. First of all, you have to prove that your god exists, and show evidence for it that cannot be applied to any other god of any other religion. Secondly, you have to explain why homosexuality is morally wrong without citing anything from some holy book or archaic text. And thirdly, by believing that they are going to based on something as trivial as their sexual preference, you are irrationally threatening them which makes you a bigot, a bully, and a borderline psychotic fool.

Should gays be killed? NO! However they ought 2 be prayed 4, 2 repent their perverted ways, like any sinner. But do deal w/them in love & take no foolishness @ the same time. The bible doesnt “support” slavery, it only displays examples of it like the men being married to more than one woman…GOD NEVER SAID IT WAS OK NOR “ORDAINED” IT, BUT IT’S THERE. Why? Because the bible shows us examples of what’s right and wrong. Another thing is..there is no “natural” way for 2 men to be together. So now you have to insert your penis into another man’s rectum…THAT’S INSANE AND PERVERTED…even when men do it to women!!!!!

I would NEVER say …
I would NEVER say you ought to be killed, or even ignored, for those desires. And I’m happy for you that you’re in such a wonderful situation.
But you’re not the norm in either your luck or your desires. And unless the average couple has at least two children (who survive to each have at least two children) the population eventually dies out (which might be a good thing considering the harm our species has done).
I’m not convinced that an entirely gay world would keep the population stable.

Everything is in the bible. It supports and condemns whatever you want, depending on how oyu read it. It is a book of fairy tales and poetry (poorly done at that). It’s a giant book of picking your prejudices. That is why I gave up on religion. Because it had nothing to offer or to enlighten.

Yeah and definitions are concrete and never change right? Words invent us and not the other way around, right? Plus you have no idea what original marriage was, so don’t humiliate yourself. And you’re right about one thing. The bible condemns homosexuality and supports slavery, so the two really can not be compared. Plus, there is no such thing as a normal couple. We are all different in one way or another. “Normal” is a word we use to feel part of a group when condemning those unlike ourselves.

You know what’s funny IN ORDER TO PROVE THAT BEING GAY IS SOOOO WRONG. LOOK AT WHAT THEY HAVE TO DO TO ATTEMPT TO BE “NORMAL”. Can’t have kids..and have to use Surrogancy, Artificial Insemination, Or a man has to have an operation to change “his outter” appearance, and same thing the woman. Im sorry but you CANNOT CHANGE who God made you. God made me black and if I were able to bleach my skin to be a swhite as snow…i’d still be black with a physical change to look like something im not.

I’ve noticed that alot of people either want to change (how God says we’re to live to fit their own “sinful” and/or “perverted” lifestyles, or they’ll say something like man wrote the bible not God. No Duh’! The bible was inspired by God..lol. Shoot every book we read is WRITTEN BY MAN. Also the very fundation of our constitution came from/founded if you will by the bible. Such things like child support, alimony, war,businessm and etc.

Marriage is defined …
Marriage is defined as the union between a MAN & a WOMAN…and what we have here are GAYS/LESBIANS/TRANSEXUALS…that want to CHANGE the “original” meaning of marriage so they can be accepted if you will..and “attempt” to come up with debatable points (in their minds) as to why they ought to have certain rights. See you cant compare homosexuality to slavery, and if a normal couple decided not to have children that’s that..you cannnot viably argue that as a reason for gays to be married.

You’re absolutely right. I don’t know why people use that lame argument. Reproduction would definately continue, it just wouldn’t be particularly pleasurable, at least in a sexual context. As far as I know, a sperm would still fertilize an egg no matter what your sexual preference.

SOME gay people generate offspring. Many of those are trying to cover up their sexuality with a heterosexual marriage and that would END if the entire race were gay. Some use artificial means because instincts to breed are strong.
But I’m a guy. I have a second brain that drains blood from the first. All I care about is a , not the perpetuation of the species.

I know about surrogacy and sperm donors and artificial insemination. Many of them are very intensive consumers of resources compared to a quick (I’m a guy, my investment is five minutes, not nine months). But that’s a side-issue.
If you’re gay, you have no incentive to procreate. You’d like a quick , sure. But ensuring that there are continuing generations? Nope.
If men could lick their balls humanity would die out. Fact.
